Envelope combinations are used in extracting maximum and minimum forces without selecting numerous number of defined load combinations. Creating Envelope combination can be tedious task especially for new users of ETABS. Clubbing multiple load combinations into one manually will be a thing of a past.

ETABS Envelope Combination Creator is a tool that will instantly create an envelope combination based on user selected load combinations. Below shows how to use the V-Structures Envelope Combination Creator

Compatibility: ETABS v18 or higher

1. Open an ETABS Model. If multiple ETABS model have been opened, the tool will connect to the first model you have opened.

2. Open the V-Structures Envelope Combination Creator by double clicking the icon.

3. Press Import Load Combinations from ETABS. The Load Combinations from ETABS List will be populated with all the load combinations defined in the model.

4. Select all load combinations you want to be included in the Envelope Combination.

5. Use arrow keys to transfer the selected load combinations to the right-hand side list.

6. Input the preferred name for the Envelope Combination.

7. Press Add Envelope combination to Etabs button to create the Combination in ETABS.

8. To check the Envelope combination, go to Define-Load Combination.
